Live Below The Line

Hello Gaters and Friends:

I've been following the Live Below The Line challenge by Unicef UK, today is my day 4, so far it has been very challenging, and it has taught me a lot about gratitude and understanding of what others feels. I know is not a complete experience, because living below the line is more than food and drink, is about all aspects, home, studies, health, and others. Living that will help to fully understand what and how it is to live below the line. I'm really grateful for all the opportunities that I have, and it eagers me to keep colaborating with Unicef UK, I know it'll be a lot better if I was in London, but sadly I can't leave this country yet, still, doing all I can from here, to help the children, those are who need the most.

I'm also a bit sad and disappointed, knowing that many of my close ones, friends and family, could donate through my fundraising to Unicef, and no one has done so, it's because I'm not Tom Hiddleston or any famous? is it because there is no reward for you? I say "hey, don't do it because of whom is doing it, or because you might get a reward, do it because of the kids, because of those children who really need it, and they need it now". Still, I'm thankful for all who had shared the link, but please donate, those kids don't live from sharing links, they need money to buy food.

Thank you so much, even though some may not understand what this really means. Pretty sure today, will be my most challenging day, I cal already feel that my body is not acting in its 100% and is the first moment that I feel a deep hunger, that requires a huge sense of will, strength and commitment, specially knowing that you have a way to satisfied, but choosing not to, because you are commited to it. It makes you realize, how strong you are, and how far you can go in the name of others.

And to finish, I invite all who can, do it, try this, stop thinking about yourself for 5 days, think about others, but those others who need more. Join Live Below The Line challenge on its world wide week from April 29 to May 3, challenge is to live 5 days below the poverty line, meaning: spend 1 pound a day, 5 days 5 pounds to buy all food and drinks you need for a week. Is very challenging, and for some may sound imposible, but If they have to live like this their whole life, so can you for five days. That's all Unicef ask, 5 days.

I'm Back

Hello Gaters:

How is life going? hope all well, ehehehe, so, here I am, back again, school has me nuts but all is better now, me on vacations and working on a few projects, one in special, Loki & Jade, my new webseries telling stories of Loki Odinson (a Character from Marvel's The Avengers and Thor) and Jade O'Neill (which I invented, Jade being the daughter of Jack O'Neill from Stargate), here is the first episode:

second episode is on the process, fun as the first one.

In other thoughts, did you know that Tom Hiddleston is at Guinea, seeing and working long with UNICEF for the kids there! I'm so proud of him and so proud of calling myself his fan, he is awesome!! and I can't wait to see him in the next Thor's movie!

Well, for all the ones wondering, Amy the Young Avenger is still on the go, but we are having little issues and working better to improve it! ehehe...

I also participate in the Film contest Jameson Empire Done in 60 seconds, sadly, I didn't get to be a nominee, agh, all because of the local final, I hate local finals, they don't allow you anything... still here is the video, uploaded on the Jameson Empire DISS channel

ehehehe...Hope you like it! we did a good job and by the rules!!

Amy The Young Avenger

Hello Gaters:
My friends, there's been a while since my last post, sorry, but I've been occupied, working on a project called "Amy The Young Avenger", a Fan-Film from Marvel's movie: The Avengers, a project that will soon see the light, because we are shooting it next week in Santiago, Chile. Is a very interesting story, that will be told in three parts, we are shooting part one this weeks, and part two and three on September.
This project is being done by Lantean Films in union with BlakeFilms® . And it will be available in August. This short film is a fan made product, so is from fans to fans.
First part will introduce you to Amy's world, this takes part after The Avengers movie. We hope you will like it, and we have much more projects on our plans, but this is the first one.

Besides that, we all know that last weekend was San Diego Comic Con, which was amazing, all those news from Marvel, but we are still waiting to hear from Stargate, as I recall, they said they had some news for us on last VanCon, but I haven't hear anything yet, does anyone know anything on that??

Comic Con Chile 2012 review

Hello Gaters:
For those of you that were asking, here is, the Comic Con Chile review!! chan chan...
Well, hope all goes well with you guys, and straight to the point, Comic Con Chile was from May 25 to 27, I couldn't do this before, due to my studies, but here it is.

Don't think that Comic Con Chile is like your Comic Cons all over the US or Canada, because, fans here, tend to be quite passionate, so security issues are very important, well, we had three major guests, Margot Kidder, Billy Dee Williams (who I met...OMG) and Peter Facinelli (Twilight fans were nuts for him).

The event started on Friday at 5pm (at that time it opened for general public), I was on my Mara Jade's costume, which looked great, meeting with old friends, and lot's of pics, here are some:

This was very fun, because we had no idea who to stand the graphics until a friend brought his Magic Clips!! awesome...Now he answers to the name of MacGyver...hahahahaha









Then, the people started to arrive, and so did the pictures!!

and those are from our stand once it was settled!!

Still, there are two days more, 26 was awesome, that day, I went with a friend as Stargate Fans!!!

Me as Col. John Sheppard and him as Dr.Rodney McKay, we even got up to the stage!!!

oh, and also, that day, we got our picture with Lando!! the great Billy Dee Williams!! AMAZING!

Comic Con is coming to town!

Hello Gaters:

Hey hey hey, next weekend (25, 26 and 27) comes Comic Con Chile!!! yey, we, as Star Wars club get the chance to go as a Fan Club, because Billy Dee Williams is coming!!! our beloved Lando!!! which is wonderful, but that's not all, as like year, I'm going on Saturday as SGA!!! (Col. Sheppard) but that's not all, because this time I'm going with a friend, he is going as Doctor Rodney McKay, and a possibility to have an Elizabeth Weir with us as well. Wonderful isn't it.

So, something new is coming on SG1, no one know what is, but we are pretty excited, also, I'm working on final details to start on Gater Teens, a FanBoys kind of movie, for Stargate, gathering friends from school to start the project, all is on wheels...

Oh, and have you seen Avengers yet? Amazing, isn't it? haha, I went to watch it twice, and I'm going for my third one! I so love it, specially Loki and Stark, I've heard that is awesome every where, as some of you know, Latinamerica got it first than US, but, US got an extra scene. Wait well deserved, now wait for the release on DVD and Blu Ray, amazing, but what was the best part of the movie for you? in my case, I loved the Hulk vs Loki scene! poor Loki...

Joel Goldsmith, Thanks for your work.

Hello Gaters:
I guess a lot of you woke up today to find out that our beloved Joel Goldsmith, the great Stargate soundtrack composer died, sad news for everyone, the cause of death is still unreleased, but our thoughts are with his family and friends. The new was announced by GateWorld, the Stargate news site.
He did a great job on all three Stargate series, on the movies of SG1 and also on Sanctuary. His music will not be forgotten, and he will live through his music and his fans.
Son of Jerry Goldsmith, Joel started on 1978, and his work for Stargate got him three Emmy nominations,
thanks for your work and talent, Joel, you will be forever in our hearts.
You may Rest In Peace.
