How are you today? hope all great!! one month with no news, well, I've been busy looking for a job, and checking everything for the trip to Chicago, for the Stargate con, a lot of work needs to be done, and well, I need to send my application to the Olympus (my parents) now, so I'll be allowed to and get some support from them, haha, "Why is so expensive a trip like that from Chile!!!" XD, well well, I want to tell you about an interesting Web-Comic online, is called "El Provinciano" is from a friend and is very interesting, telling the story about how a man, recently out from university makes his living in a city that is not his own, in Santiago de Chile.
Here I leave you the Link, take a look, is really interesting, and you will love it, is in spanish and comes out every wednesday at twelve Santiago time, XD hahaha...

Ok, more news, Comic Con Chile has a new guest, mister Billy Dee Williams aka Lando Calrissian and Margot Kidder aka Lois Lane from Superman movies, we still don't know when are they going to appear, but is most likely to be on Friday 25, May. The Con takes place in Estacion Mapocho from May 25th to May 27th, is going to be a very GEEK weekend, I'll try to go, because I work on Weekends, so, I'll se if I can take time to go, but my main concern still is Stargate Con at Chicago this year!! haha.
Well, more news coming soon, and don't forget to check the webcomic "El Provinciano"!!

First 2012 entry
Hello Gaters:
Fellow friends, I apologize for the delay, but Happy New Year! it has been a very good start so far. With new series, new friends and new projects, this year is the last VanCon, but even though, all that happened last year, I still feel Stargate isn't over!! and It won't be, if all fans feels so. But hey, cheer up! we have a lot to watch and rewatch, haha.
Well, also this year is Phantom Menace 3D premiere, awesome (for the Star Wars fans, me included) haha, all I hope is everything turns right. Also I'm taking a major step on my fanaticism, I'm going to Chicago Con on August!! so, I hope they get more guests!! (Specially Kavan Smith, David Hewlett and Ben Browder).
Haha, and I hope to meet some of my friends there too...awesome, and it will be great!!
I'll tell you all that happens there here!! yey so wait 4 August!!

FIC Santiago
Hello Gaters:
I come by to tell them a little about FIC Santiago. The Convention was really good, with guest stars like Tony Moore and Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers), all very friendly, mostly about Comics, FIC Santiago gave the opportunity to Drawers, Comic Designers, and writers to share ideas, think about new projects, and simply talk.
Also gave the opportunity to meet people interested on similar things, comics, tv-shows and others, it wasn't like this year's Comic Con, but it was very good.

Thanks to all involved in this Convention, and is good to know that everyday there is more interest on Fan conventions of different subjects, let's hope in the future we could make one from Stargate!

December
Hello Gaters,
December is Starting, and well, Christmas is coming, in some places very cold, and in others, really hot! (like here, in Chile). Well, December comes with a new event, FIC Santiago, a Comic Convention here, it has different guests, like Tony Moore, and other Illustrators, from Chile and LatinAmerica.
I'll be posting some pictures of it after the event on Dec 10.
And this weekend, Dec 2 & 3, take place the Teletón here in Chile, and I'll be posting some pics from my friends and I on the Star Wars event.
Well, November is over, and count down for 2012 is about to start.
My best wishes for December, the last month of the year!!

Coming Soon
Hello Gaters!!
How are you? hope all great...well, this will be a very short entry....but here goes, well, December is coming, which means Christmas is about to come, also Fic Santiago, a Comics convention that will bring some amazing comic's Authors, like Tony Moore, the author of The Walking Dead, plus others, so is coming very good.
Also starting on Castings for Gater Teens, a Fanboys style movie, on Stargate!! with any luck we will be start filming on December, so hopefully we will have first trailer on January!! (if I can have it posted for my Birthday will be awesome, Jan, 10) we will also launch a Facebook page and an official Twitter, apart from mine @JadeBernyOneill. so, hope having more news soon!.

Zombie Walk Chile
Hello Gaters, and Geek friends:
This weekend took place the most known ZombieWalk!! which was amazing, I took part with some friends from The Resistance, what we want to make it an official group. The walk was marked by the appear of the old child characters, characters from TV, movies and other, that marked your childhood, in their terms, it was the Zombie Walk of the Dead Childhood. There were Jedis zombies, Pac-Man zombies, Captain America as Zombie, Capt. Jack Sparrow zombie, Mystery Inc. zombie (but I did not see Scooby Zombie), and much more...
The Resistance had some too, from Resident Evil, to Half Life, and of course, Stargate!! I was as Major Samantha Carter from Stargate SG1. But, let the photos come!!
Thank you all for watching and supporting The Resistance, we will meet again for the next Zombie Walk...

Proximos Eventos
Hola Gaters:
Como estan todos, espero que esten bien, anoche fue la Gala de Once Upon a Cure, la cual fue un gran exito, es bueno saber que aun hay gente que se importa por las causas como la busqueda de una cura para el Sindrome de Hunter, si buscan mas informacion, visiten: http://onceuponacure.com/
En la Gala se hicieron presentes grandes personajes de la television Americana y Canadiense, entre ellos estaban Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Ryan Robbins, Robert Lawrenson, Julia Benson, entre otros. Aunque la gala ya haya sucedido, hay que seguir apoyando, eso es lo mas importante.
En otro ambito, el proximo fin de semana (sept. 30, oct. 1 y 2) tiene lugar la ExpoComics, una pequeña convencion de Comics, la cual reune a un gran numero de ilustradores de comics y fans de comics, y yo estare reporteando sobre el evento aqui mismo en mi blog. Ademas de eso, el 15 de octubre tiene lugar el ZombieWalk Chile, donde el tema sera convertir en Zombie a algun personaje de la infancia, WOW, tenemos que ver eso, y luego el 29, 30 y 31 de Octubre llega la ConComics, donde asistire en el modo STARGATE, para representar a la comunidad Stargate y lograr hacerla crecer, y generar una representacion SG aqui, y asi en algun futuro poder tener una Convencion de Stargate en Chile, con invitados como Kavan Smith, Joe Flanigan, David Hewlett, entre otros.
